Bridesmaids Dress

I took half of my girls to the Bridesmaids boutique today. Boy, it was FUN!

I made them try on practically every dress in the store that came in the color blue that I LOVED!

And, this is what they ALL agreed on. It is a B2 gown from Jasmine Bridal. It is style number B9092

My COLOR is called Sapphire. This picture shows the two tones but I do not want that.


I am going to go with ALL Sapphire Blue (navy blue) and add a BUNCH of apple green color like to their bouquets and also this same green on a NECKLACE that I will be giving to them for a BM gift!:

Do you like? I love the BACK and it look AWESOME on the girls!

Theme

I am trying to come up with the perfect "catchy name" for my theme. I am going to incorporate my FUN slogan into all things wedding! My take on my wedding is going to be in a garden. I want it to be a fashion forward modern take on a garden wedding. PLEASE help me!

I am going to have Navy Blue Bridesmaid dresses and have them wear a BRIGHT green necklace and my Groomsmen are going to be wearing Navy Blue Suits with a BRIGHT Green Tie like this green one from Brooks Brothers:

I found my VENUE!!!!

Ahhh!! I am so excited!! I found and booked my venue… March 21, 09

Its official and I could scream I am so EXCITED!

My DREAM wedding is COMING TOGETHER!!

My Ceremony is in a BEAUTIFUL, gothic style, traditional church.

We are having a beautiful Christ centered Wedding Ceremony!

The church was built in 1926 and still holds its beauty today.

 

My Reception is going to be at the Cummer Museum of Art and Garden.

Its going to be a modern reception in a stunning garden and art gallery over looking the breathtaking St. Johns River!
Dancing under the stars over the river anyone?!

Its going to be a blast!

FUN dress

I have been browsing the internet for a FUN, FLIRTY, WHITE dress for some upcoming Engagement Sessions.

Over at Nordstroms I found 2 I like…

This one is by As U Wish Bow Dress. Its FUN and SOOO adorable. I LOOOOVE the BIG BOW and I think would be really cute for some photos!!

I also found a really Adrianna Papell Sweetheart Neck Dot Dress. This is one is a bit more conservative but still OH so CUTE.

I need EVERYONES help…

I am in the process of trying the find the PERFECT venue for my upcoming June 2009 wedding in Jacksonville, FL.

I just can't decide where I want it and what type of theme to go with since it is going to be in the summer and HOT and HUMID in FL!

I have browsed about every place you can find on the internet and I can't make up my mind, so I have decided to ASK for advice to whoever reads my BLOG!

If you have been to a wedding in Jacksonville, FL specifically the BEACH or Ponte Vedra Beach area what was the VENUE? Did you love it or hate it?

Have you browsed over pictures from a wedding there and loved them… share them with ME! PLEASE!

These are a couple of locations that I have browsed over on the internet and loved the looks of… PS… I have to find one that accommodates 300. THAT'S the HARD PART!!!

Down Under

I had an appointment today for my 1st try-on of Bridal Gowns... and well I BOUGHT!!!! I would have never thought that I would buy!!! I was about to leave and put my clothes back on and get out of the only 3 dresses that I liked not loved from the Trunk Show for Essence of Australia until I decided to go through by myself and look at them on the rack again.. And then I SAW IT! I HAD to try it on... and then I did not want to take it off!!!!!

The DESIGNER Luanne was there with me the WHOLE time. She went way above and beyond, I could not even tell you who worked at the store or who my bridal consultant was, sad I know! BUT Luanne from AUSTRAILIA had flown in for the weekend to be at the boutique and she was HEAVEN-SENT! She put the gown on me, dressed me, buttoned me up, put a veil so I could get the whole "feel", told me about every piece of the gown, every feature, told me about the fabric, the special color, and pointed out that she even designed to put POCKETS on the gown… HOW PERFECT!!!! AHHH it was the best. She and I swapped e-mails and we were instant friends! I just had to take a picture with her so that you could all see her!

 

I can not reveal the whole dress yet... I took a couple photos of the dress with me in it but the size was not mine, of course HENCE that it is a dress that does not even hit the stores UNTIL JULY 2009… and my wedding is in JUNE so therefore no one will have seen my gown!! AND I LOVE THAT!! Every picture that I have looked at and every design detail that I wanted could not even fit what The dress will not even be in for 6 MONTHS because it is not even on production yet! WOOOOO!

I also had to buy the new Russell and Hazel Wedding Organization. Of course, this NEW organizer is going to be SOLD OUT soon, I know it, grab it SOON!

Flaire Weddings and Events

I am excited to be apart of Flaire Weddings and Events!

I met Cassandra, the proud owner, the week of July 4^th! She has asked me to be a part of her special team on the weekends as a Wedding Coordinator Assistant!

I am very excited to get to experience her work, hands-on! She is such a cute sweet lady and I can not wait to get to know her more. She is also going to be MY personal wedding coordinator for my upcoming wedding June 6, 2009!!

My Proposal!

I want to share some personal about me... This was my engagement!!

We spent all day at the beach, and I never knew it was coming.

We had just finished a home cooked meal at around 6:00 and after Jay decided that we take a stroll on the beach with our beach cruisers.

We biked about 25 minutes down the beach, turned around, and then decided to head back. I complained that the wind was really hard pedaling against it and I said I wanted to ride on the beach, Jay said NO! We kept on pedaling and then to our luck, the chain on Jay's bike broke. So, I started to complain more!! J

After walking all the way the rest of the way home while walking the bikes we arrived back at our condo.

When started getting closer I started to see what was going on. A blanket with candles, flowers, and a bottle of sparkling wine...

It was completely and utterly romantic. Jay poured is heart out to me for 15 minutes and then he got down on one knee and asked… "Will YOU marry ME?!"

I had a tear drop down my face, started shaking, hugged him, and then let him put my to die for ring on my left finger…

I also love how I knew what was going to happen and that I got so dressed up, put on makeup, did my hair, and looked so FABULOUS… NOT!!!!!
